Assisting anyone passionate about caring and working with wildlife and big Cats!
Work with Cheetah, Lion, Tiger, Leopard, Lynx, Wolves and more
A global study estimated the cheetah population at Less than 7,100 individuals, occupying only 9% of their historical distributional range. This program is also home to many other vulnerable members to create an awareness around their plight for survival. All animals on this very large farm are provided with a safe home.
Participants’ involvement directly impacts these numbers, ensuring a brighter future for cheetahs and Big Cats worldwide! This non-profit endangered species and Cheetah program prioritizes the well-being of animals above all. As an intern or volunteer, you play a crucial role in these Cheetah Breeding Projects, actively contributing to the preservation of cheetahs by maintaining genetic diversity. Your hands-on involvement includes working with DNA samples from cheetahs, collaborating with ethical projects, and participating in efforts to secure the future survival of these incredible creatures.
There are 3 programs offered on the same site!
On all the programs, you will be accommodated on the farm, get actively involved with the care and maintenance of the animals and enclosures, socialize with volunteers from all over the world and have the opportunity to explore the farm and surrounding tourism activities!
The Volunteer program and the Working holiday volunteer program are suitable for anyone! The only difference is on the working holiday you will have more time off to explore or relax, and you get the option to stay in private accommodation or shared accommodation!
The Internship is recommended for anyone in school or recently qualified who is seeking additional responsibilities or looking to fulfill assignments, research or practice!
I suggest looking at all 3 and seeing which one will benefit you the most!
