Last summer 2025, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Africa, where I completed two intensive courses: Wildlife Management and conservation experience and the Wildlife Capture Course/Chemical Immobilization Course. This experience was more than I ever expected. Not only did I gain hands-on knowledge about African wildlife and the medications used to safely care for and immobilize animals, but I also formed meaningful connections with people from all over the world. Every single day was filled with learning, laughter, and unforgettable moments, shared with people who started as strangers and quickly felt like a family.
