An experience that truly shaped me both professionally and personally

Last summer 2025, I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Africa, where I completed two intensive courses: Wildlife Management and conservation experience and the Wildlife Capture Course/Chemical Immobilization Course. This experience was more than I ever expected. Not only did I gain hands-on knowledge about African wildlife and the medications used to safely care for and immobilize animals, but I also formed meaningful connections with people from all over the world. Every single day was filled with learning, laughter, and unforgettable moments, shared with people who started as strangers and quickly felt like a family. It was an experience that truly shaped me both professionally and personally

The BEST

I did Pre-vet program and It is hard to decide which I enjoyed more, the people or the animals! It was such a fun experience and I even delayed my trip home to spend more time on the program. Everyone is so great and I got good practice with injecting, working with different animals. wildlife, pregnancy testing and even riding a ATV around the Safari reserves! I cant wait to come back one day when I am done studying and qualified! Lanielle

I did the Pre-vet program and mini wildlife course and it was so AMAZING! Thank you for teaching me so much! I learnt to do many things I knew I needed to learn for vet school. The best adventure I have ever done!

I loved it so much I came back a second time a year later. I worked with so many different animals in so many different areas and environments. Seeing the difference we make fills my heart and I intend to go back again when I can.

Lanielle was so helpful! I was able to set up zoom calls or message on Instagram and get all my questions answered! My first time I travelled to South Africa. I was nervous but Lanielle was there every step of the way. When I arrived I felt like I knew WAY more of what was going on than some of the other students that booked online. This was more personal. What an experience!

I first came to South Africa to do the Pre-Vet program for a couple weeks and I loved it so much I came back a second time for 3 months!! The work we do makes such a difference and I got some incredible hands-on experience! Nothing you would usually get in university! With all my hours, experience and a recommendation letter, I was quickly accepted into Vet school! I still intend to go back a third time in the summer. South Africa is a beautiful country with beautiful people! Lanielle ended up becoming one of my best friends and makes your first time travelling there way less stressful! I highly recommend this program!
